The Maress Decarbonisation Campaign 2025 ran in June, July and August. Over 300 vessels participated who together saved 3 755 t of fuel, equivalent to almost 12 000 t of CO2. All Møkster vessels contributed well, and our 14 vessels was responsible for almost 20 % of the overall emission reductions. The use of shore power also saved over 100 t of fuel during the campaign for our vessels.
All vessels compete against themselves and each other to achieve the best improvement compared to their own historical baseline.
Stril Poseidon won the “Others” vessel category with a 27 % improvement, closely followed by Stril Mariner in 2nd place (20 %), Stril Herkules in 3rd place (19.3 %) and Stril Merkur in 4th place (13.4 %).
Other impressive achievements are the Stril Mermaid with the lowest consumption in standby mode of all the PSVs, Stril Server with the lowest consumption in DP mode of all the CSVs and Stril Mariner with the lowest consumption in DP, standby and transit mode of all the vessels in the “Others” category.
