Annually Simon Møkster Shipping hires between 10 and 15 apprentices and cadets for all onboard positions. As an apprentice or cadet with us, you will get a unique opportunity to experience and engage in a variety of maritime and offshore operations and lay the perfect foundation to start working in one of Norway's most important industries.
We hold a strong belief in the future of the Norwegian seafarer and are committed to take our part in ensuring the necessary skills and competencies are transferred to the next generation. Simon Møkster Shipping has a long tradition of hiring apprentices and cadets and has been registered as a lærlingbedrift since 1996. In 2014, Simon Møkster Shipping was honoured as "Årets maritime lærebedrift".
